Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage is the foundation of my practice. Each session is unique and shaped around what your body needs that day—whether you’re looking for relief from chronic tension, recovering from an injury, or simply creating space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

My work draws primarily from deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. As a certified Block Therapy Bodyworker, I also incorporate blocking into my massage sessions to deepen the release and support lasting change.

I have also trained in Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, Bowen Therapy, Thai massage, acupressure, and Shiatsu. I don’t offer these as separate sessions, but years of study in both Western and Eastern traditions of bodywork have expanded my understanding of the body and continue to inform the intuitive, individualized way I work with each client.

Rather than forcing the body to release, I work with it. I pay attention to areas of restriction and tension, using responsive pressure and a variety of techniques to gently unwind patterns the body may have been holding for a long time.

I also bring awareness to breath, posture, and habitual movement throughout our work. As you become more aware of how you hold and move your body, you can begin to recognize patterns that may be contributing to tension in the first place. This creates an opportunity not only to release what has been held, but also to explore new ways of moving with greater ease and awareness.

My intention is for you to leave feeling not only more relaxed and comfortable, but more connected to and aware of your own body.
